Dr. Sooriyakala Sreekumar is the dedicated and enthusiastic Head of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department at Sooriya Hospitals. Enriched by her work exposure in the United Kingdom, she has been infusing the Department with several innovative ideas.

Her programs for pre-natal patient care are very popular with expectant mothers. She has been instrumental for establishing the yoga center which has enabled healthier mothers and easier child births. She has been closely involved in building an exclusive and world class neo-natal centre - the best in Chennai - for new-borns who need special care, enabling the survival of more and more babies.

She has been pro-actively supporting her husband Dr. Sreekumar in realizing his vision for Sooriya Hospitals.
