The eye clinic in Sooriya Hospital is fully facilated, set up with ideals to provide the best in patient care using the latest techniques for diagnosis, surgery and comprehensive eye care.
The eye clinic here was started in July 1995 by Dr. B. Revathi MBBS.,DNB who is well experienced ophthalmologist with Post Graduate degree from Sankara Nethralaya after her medical degree from Madras Medical College.
She was working in Sankara Nethralaya as a consultant in Glaucoma department till 1995. She has performed more than 2000 surgeries (Intraocular Lens Implantation & Glaucoma surgeries) and various anterior segment laser procedures during her career in Sankara Nethralaya.
Since 1995 she is devoting her full time here. The department is well equipped with mordern equipments to provide utmost and latest technological care to the patients suffering from eye problems. More than 1000 Intraocular Lens (Phacoemulsification) & Glaucoma surgeries have been performed in this hospital, using micro surgical techniques.
Various other procedures like Squint correction, Anterior segment, Laser surgeries, Contact lens fitting, Detail Retinal examination and Retinal Cryopexy are all performed here apart from complete examination.
 Out Patient department timings : Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat - 10 am to 4 pm.
Tue & Thur - 6 pm to 8 pm,
Sunday Holiday.
